InvisalignTM and ClearCorrectTM for Teeth Straightening

Braces may seem kind of cute on kids. On adults, however, they aren’t so attractive. Today, there is a new alternative to sporting a mouthful of metal for straightening teeth: InvisalignTM or ClearCorrectTM.

InvisalignTM is an almost invisible way to straighten teeth. Most people won’t even notice that you’re wearing aligners, so you can smile in confidence throughout the treatment period.

How InvisalignTM Works

Invisalign/ClearCorrectTM is an innovative technology for straightening teeth that consists of a series of clear, removable aligners. Each aligner is designed to make a slight correction in the position of the teeth. By the end of the treatment period, the teeth should be in the desired position.

Each invisible aligner is worn for approximately two weeks before moving on to the next aligner. Unlike metal braces, these aligners can be removed before eating, brushing, and flossing. (The number of aligners needed to complete the straightening process averages between 18 and 30.)

Our dentist or orthodontist will have you come in periodically to check the progress of the treatment. The length of time and the number of aligners required to complete the process will depend upon your personal progress.

Why Choose Invisalign/ClearCorrectTM?

If your teeth are crooked or crowded, if you have unwanted gaps between teeth, or if your bite is off, Invisalign/ClearCorrect can be the answer to your orthodontic woes. When Invisalign/ClearCorrect aligners are worn instead of unsightly braces, you won’t feel self-conscious about smiling in public. The aligners are clear and difficult for others to detect. No one will label you with names such as "Metal Mouth."

Invisalign/ClearCorrectTM aligners are more comfortable than braces and can be removed as needed. Braces, on the other hand, can irritate the mouth. When soreness develops, the patient cannot remove the braces, but simply has to tolerate the soreness. Only a dentist or orthodontist can remove braces.

The success rate has been quite good among adults and teens who chose Invisalign/ClearCorrectTM over braces. In fact, treatment for orthodontic problems has typically taken much less time with Invisalign/ClearCorrectTM than with braces. The average treatment time with Invisalign/ClearCorrect is around one year. Braces often require several years to achieve desired results.

Hello Dr. Chang!!!

Hope all is well with you and the team in Dallas.

First off let me start by saying thank you so much for taking such amazing care of me when I fractured my tooth.

It was traumatizing for me! You, Stephanie and Melie took the time to calm me down and make sure that I understood my options.
Between yourself and Felix making sure my tooth came out natural, I feel like smiling again. (for real)

Thank you for the Dora blanket, the hugs and hand holding ;-))) ( it made a big difference )
Dear Dr. Chang, Dr. Duraini and Staff,

Thank you so much for your excellent work and service on my implants. Since my last visit in Dallas, the implants are fitting comfortably and I can actually chew the foods without any problems! I truly appreciate the time you’ve put into improving my quality of life! I’m soooo happy that I can finally enjoy all kinds of foods again. Thank you again! It was worth coming from out of state to see your office!!

“Dr Andy was great, he was really reassuring. It was like growing up in Ohio again. It was a small-town kind of feeling.

Everyone in his office is so personable. They were very warm and very open.”
